Carl Schoeneberger
Carl has over 30 years of product development experience in cable television, telecommunications and satellite ground station companies. He is skilled in the areas of systems engineering, hardware and software development and mechanical engineering. In the 1970s and 80s he developed large systems for broadband communication that performed residential security monitoring and interactive television services. In the 1980s, 90s and early 2000 he worked in the telecommunications industries and was a former division CTO for Lucent Technologies. He has headed the software development of multimedia messaging systems and customer contact centers. In 2004 Carl co-founded Orbital Systems, Ltd., and he has since developed large-scale mechanical systems for satellite antenna positioners with a specific focus on high reliability. Carl is a named inventor on 18 US patents and has 1 in application.
Allan Bundens
Allan has over 30 years of product development experience in the cable television, RF communications, RF networking and satellite data reception and processing industries. His skills include systems engineering, embedded hardware and software development, networking, digital receiver development, antenna control systems and satellite data communications. In the 1970s and 80s Allan developed broadband communications systems for security monitoring, traffic control, interactive television and computer networking. In 1988 Allan co-founded Quorum Communications, Inc to develop satellite data reception electronics and systems. In 2004 Allan co-founded Orbital Systems, Ltd. to address the need for cost effective, high reliability antenna positioners to work in tandem with Quorum reception electronics. Allan is a named inventor on 5 US patents.
Richard Fogle
Richard has over 30 years of product development experience in the RF and microwave industry. He is particularly skilled in the development of RF products designed for reception of signals from both polar and geosynchronous satellites. In the 1970s Rick designed telemetry systems used in oil exploration and worked with some of the first satellite navigation systems using polar orbiting satellites. He assisted in designing high speed demodulators and IF modules for Rockwell/Collins used in terrestrial microwave transmission systems all over the world in addition to satellite TV distribution systems. In the 1980’s Rick designed high-speed RF modems used for wide and local area networking before starting Quorum Communications. From 1988 to present has designed the RF equipment for Quorum Communications, which includes feeds, downconverters, receivers, and tactical satellite systems. In 2004 Rick co-founded Orbital Systems, Ltd. Rick is a named inventor on 4 US patents.
